So Mom and Dad tell me things can get even better than this as I get older... but I don't see how. You see, this was by far the best weekend EVER! I'm quite sure after reading the highlights of the weekend you will agree with me.
Hightlight 1: Grandma & Uncle Joe babysat.
While Mommy & Daddy went out for the night, Grandma came by to pay me a visit. Her and Uncle Joe spent the night playing with me in my new bouncer. They sang me songs. We laughed. I cried (occassionally). And in the end I gave them a ton of great new memories with me.
Highlight 1a: I got to play in a bouncer for the first time.
Can you say fun? I think it is spelled B O U N C E R. Yay! Thank you Grandpa Ron for the present!
Highlight 2: I Rolled over for the first time!
Apparently doing a flip from your tummy to your back is the type of acrobatics that will make everyone applaud. I will most certainly try this again but keep in mind, I am not a carnival show..... so don't you get to thinking that I will do these types of things on demand!
Highlight 3: I went to Griffis Sculpture Park
At three months old, it was high time that I got some culture into my blood. Mom & Dad packed me up and took me for a ride down to Ashford to check out the awesome metal sculptures in the Griffis Park. There was some neat stuff there that I intend to climb on someday.
Highlight 3a: I got to ride in the Baby Sling forwards for the first time!
This is by far the way to travel. My past experiences had me flipped the other way where all I could see is Dad's chest. That direction isn't even fair because there was no view, I had to smell cologne all day, and apparently Daddy nipples don't come supplied with instant Teagan snacks so what is the point in him having any? Facing forward is WAY better! I got to look around and now have free reign to move my arms where I want to.... Which brings me to:
Highlight 3b: I found my thumbs!
Having free reign with my arms and nothing better to do, I decided to check out what my thumb tastes like. And let me tell you... it is delicious! Now, I've tried my other fingers before, but by far this is the best one. Binkies beware, your days may be over, thumbs are WAY better.
Highlight 3c: I held my own bottle for the first time!
Now grant you, it was only for about a minute, but holding my own bottle was way cooler than Dad or Mom holding it. Once I get this move mastered, I'll have the say on when and how I eat. That is awesome!
Highlight 4: We went to Dairy Queen
Now this would normally be a treat only for Mom and Dad, but....
Highlight 4a: I got to try my first bit of Ice Cream.
Mom & Dad apparently thought that my great day deserved a reward, so I got a small taste of Mommy's ice cream. It may have only been a taste at the end of Mommy's finger, but I can already tell that I will have a long love affair with this tasty treat.

So what do you think? Best weekend ever or what?

Things I learned: Month 3
1.) Toes are wonderful things. You know, if you are not careful, you can tickle yourself though... all the people that say that you can't are liars!
2.) Most parties my parents go to are boring. I make sure to start screaming after a half hour or so to ensure that they have a good reason to run away (with their tails between their legs).
3.) I LOVE SLEEPING. I cannot stress this enough. I sleep wonderfully most nights to my parent's delight. A warning to you all though, unless I wake up on my own, do not disturb me or I will show you how well my lungs have developed!
4.) Giggling & smiling get a TON of reaction from people. I think I will tuck this knowledge away and use this to my advantage when I want things in the future.
5.) Crying gets an even BIGGER reaction from people. I will use this to my advantage now!

Napping Contest
Well, since mommy gets to stay at home with me, the other furry creatures in the house get to stay out all day as well. This means we all get to compete for her attention until either she or we pass out (frankly, I think we get to do more of the sleeping than she does). In fact, that whole sleeping idea is what brings me to today's article... or shall I say contest. You see, we are so hyper competitive here in the Masterson house, that we couldn't determine who was the best (read cutest) sleeper. I of course think there is no competition here, but the fuzzy 'friends' insisted that they get their fair shot. So here for your viewing pleasure is me snoozing the afternoon away.... and next to me are three animals clearly failing to draw any interest from you. If you feel you must vote, I'm sure you know which number to pick :-).

work! Work! WORK!
Sorry for my absence peeps. Dad apparently thinks working is more important than reaching out to you all... so he packed me up, shipped me to his job, and broke a ton of labor laws. Forced me to run the business from his desk. Forced me to run the business from his lap. Forced me to run the business from his phone. When he was done, he even took a nap while I had to babysit all of the animals in the house. I call Shenanigans!
